Below I have a breakdown of each formula as far as texture, feel, fragrance/or fragrance, etc.
Satin: This formula is the closest we have to a matte finish. These lipsticks are still creamy but will wear down to a matte feel which can be more on the dry side. This formula is fragrance-free and nut-free. It is also the longest lasting and it has good pigmentation *not sheer*
Instant Color: This is our middle formula. I would describe it as a cream formula. It feels very smooth and creamy in application. This formula is also fragrance and nut-free. Doesn’t last as long as the Satin formula but lasts longer than the Summer Passion line. Again good pigmentation and color payoff.
Original: This formula is also creamy but leans more to the balmy side. Feels very soft and buttery with application. This formula has vanilla in it so while it’s not a synthetic fragrance it still has a vanilla smell. It also has Almond oil in it so it is not nut-free. Being a more moisturizing formula it does not last as long as our other lipsticks and this particular formula tends to be more on the sheer side.
Summer Passion: This formula is our most moisturizing formula. It has a balm-like feel to it when you apply it. So it’s especially great for those with dry lips. Again very soft and buttery in application. This formula has a fruity sweet smell to it from the plant oils and waxes so again not synthetic but still a fragrance nonetheless. Also has Almond oil so it’s not nut-free. This formula is the least lasting and is also sheer in application.
X-Series: This formula is also a cream formulation. At first in application it feels similar to the Summer Passion line but it wears down to feel more between the Instant Color lipsticks and Satin lipsticks. This formula is fragrance and nut-free. While it feels buttery and moisturizing like the Summer Passion line it has stronger pigmentation *color payoff* and will last longer and wears down to a more matte feel.
